An application that was used for non-verbal autism. It allowed the user to interact at the counter of a fast food restaurant. Using step-by-step instructions, it showed the social norms that should be followed from standing in line to picking up their order. It allowed the user to build their order after scanning a QR code for the restaurant. They could then see what their total was and show their order to the employee at the register. It also allowed them to interact with the employee using text to speech and prerecorded messages.
This was an AR interactive application that will be used for patrons on tours of the historical site. Using location enabled devices, the user tours the facility and is given audio, video, picture, and 3D model artifacts that make the tour/exploration more involved and immersive for the user.
